Zatokrev

In April 2002, the Zatokrev project was launched in Basel, Switzerland. With a professional vocation, the combo quickly moves towards a very ambient, dark and slow metal, in line with the Postcore scene, Neurosis and Cult Of Luna in the lead. The trio plays in several large festivals in Switzerland and then in neighbouring countries, as a group discovered. It was at the end of 2004 that the band's first effort at Codebreaker Records came out, with a distribution on the American continent by Earache Records from April 2005. On a very good bill, this record is not noticed. It is therefore during 2007 that the new album, Bury The Ashes , and a split with their Vancouver compatriots is released on Get A Life! Records.
