Woods Of Desolation

Woods Of Desolation begins as a depressive Black Metal duo formed in 2005 in Wollongong, Australia. D. (Guitare / Chant / Batterie) and P. Knight (Basse / Chant) together release several demos and splits (with Vorkuta and Drohtnung) before focusing on the first album, Toward The Depts . But it was especially after the departure of P. Knight at the end of 2008 that Woods Of Desolation took on its full scope. D., now the only member on board, was released toorn Beyond Reason in 2011. His Black Metal is increasingly worked, the grandiose and melancholic melodies reveal all the loneliness and ill-being of his author. The press returns are unanimous and rank him in the line of groups like Drudkh or Lifelover. A sequel, As The Stars is still released in 2014 at Northern Silence Productions, also popular.
