Wolfmother
Biography
Wolfmother is born on the side of ACDC or Silverchair: Australia. Musically, however, there's not much to see, it's more like looking for Black Sabbath , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple or The Kinks , basically the late 1960s and 1970s. This trio formed in 2000, composed of Chris Ross (Basse / Keyboard), Myles Heskett (Battery) and Andrew Stockdale (Chant / Guitar) jam for fun for four years before starting the compositions, at first rather Punk as Black Flag, then recorded a first ep in 2004 and released in 2006 his first eponymous album. Triple platinum in Austalie the buzz is created very quickly around the band on the rest of the planet and gets good echoes all over the press. In August 2008, Chris Ross and Myles Heskett left Wolfmother for musical differences. Andrew Stockdale remained on board alone and recruited Dave Atkins (Battery) in 2008. Ian Peres (Basse/Clavier) and Aiden Nemeth (Guitare) joined forces in 2009 to record a new album. Now in the form of a quartet, Wolfmother releases Cosmic Egg at the end of the year. Andrew Stockdale appeared on Slash's solo album in 2010 where he sang on the song By The Sword. Dave Atkins left the combo the same year to spend more time with his family. He was replaced by Will Rockwell-Scott.
