Wintersun

Originally from Finland and performing music at the crossroads of Black-Metal, Power-Metal and Folk-Metal, Wintersun is the solo project of singer Jari Mäenpää who left Ensiferum in 2004 to found this band. Jari Mäenpää alone made his first album by playing all the instruments except the drums played by Kai Hahto. Later came for the stage and for what will be the band's final line-up, Jukka Koskinen at bass and Teemu Mäntysaari as second guitarist. The next album Time has been due for several years.
