We Are The Ocean

Based on the ashes of Dead But Still Dreaming , We Are The Ocean consists of Dan Brown (chant), Liam Cromby (chant/guitar), Alfie Scully (guitar), Jack Spence (bass) and Tom Whittaker (battery) and operates between Post-Hardcore and Pop-Punk. The band soon made it known thanks to Myspace and Kerrang magazine! . So much so that the 1000 copies of their first eponymous EP will be sold in one day. Brian McTernan (Thrice , The Bled , Converge ) is responsible for producing their first album, Cutting Our Teeth , which will be released in early 2010. The band then chained concerts, tours, festivals (Reading/Leeds, Download...) and new albums in a metronomic way, with Go Now And Live in 2011 and Maybe Today Maybe Tomorrow in 2012. 2012 also marked Dan Brown's departure from the band, as Liam Cromby was alone in singing. We are The Ocean is back to work in 2014, but ARK , which accentuates the alternative rock curve taken by the band, will only be born in May 2015.
