Biography

Italian trio formed at the turn of the 21st century, Ufomammut distills heavy music at the intersection of the Sludge and Doom, strongly borrowed from psychedelism. Verily revealed by their second album, Snailking in 2004, the transalpines signed by Supernatural Cat are now among the tenors of this scene and pose themselves as worthy heirs of Yob and other Acrimony. However, the band has developed a style of its own that has been constantly reaffirmed, notably on Idolum released in 2008 and Eve in 2010. After the release of the "double" album Oro in 2012, the trio released Ecate in 2015, then 8 in 2017.
