Tristeza

Quintet formed in San Diego in 1997, Tristeza integrates in his compositions, in addition to a traditional instrumental Post-rock, various Mexican influences that make it its originality. Although James LaValle (The Album Leaf ) took part in the adventure from the beginning, he left the band in 2003, leaving behind 2 albums and a few subsequent participations in the recordings. Following a fast-paced CD and EP release every six months since 2003, members of Tristeza are also involved in other musical projects. Paisajes , released at the end of 2010, is their quietest album, marked by a Zen approach. It took almost four months to record it.
