Touché Amoré
Biography
Formed in 2007, Touché Amoré embarks on a post-hardcore in the line of La Dispute, mixing melodies and fergue. A demo sees the following year at No Sleep Records. A series of dates followed him, before the combo returned to the studio for his first album ...To the Beat of a Dead Horse , recorded in early 2009, while the physical release was made in June of the same year at 6131 and Collect Records (Geoff Rickly's Label of Thursday ). Shortly afterwards, Jeremy Zsupnik left his drummer position, replaced by Elliot Babin on a firm foot, while the combo came out 2 Splits (one with La Dispute, the second with Make Do and Mend) and a Live ( Live at WERS). After a change of guitarist, Touché Amoré began recording his second opus, Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me, after signing with Deathwish. Announced for current 2011, the second opus filters on the net a few weeks before its release.
