This Gift Is A Curse is a group of Black Metal / Sludge / Hardcore from Stockholm formed in 2008 by Lars Gunnarsson (Basse), Johan Nordlund (Batterie), Patrick Andersson (Guitare / Chant) and Jonas A. Holmberg (Chant). A first demo released in 2009, quickly followed by an eponymous recorded at Sunlight Studios (Entombed , Dismember , Denied , Disfear ) in a week. Demonstrating the full potential of the quartet, inspired by formations such as Gaza , Admiral Angry , Leviathan or Neurosis and Godflesh , This Gift Is A Curse is ready to assert itself with a first mischief of a rare violence titled I, Gvilt Bearer which appears at Discouraged Records.
