The Planet Smashers

The Smashers Planets, a skapunk-pop group, formed in Montreal, Quebec in 1994. Their first eponymous cd, released on Stomp Records, sold very well. So they followed a Canadian tour that allowed them to make a good reputation across the country. It was Chris Murray (of King Appartus) who produced their next records (attack of the planet smashers in 1997 and life of the party in 1999) that also sold very well allowing Stomp records to become THE Canadian ska label. In 1999, the smasher planets will take part in the Sno jam 5 tour, which also includes Chixdiggit and Bouncing Souls , which will make them more successful with the public. After releasing their latest: cd no self control, the Smashers Planets set out to conquer Europe with a tour of the Old Continent in autumn 2001 and are present at the warped tour 2002 (in the United States), the largest punk rock tour with dozens of big bands on each date!
