The Kidcrash

American Quartet, The Kidcrash has been manipulating strings as a collective since 2000. In 2004, these Santa Fe natives released via Lujo Records a first effort, New Ruins , influenced by the second wave emo (Mineral , Jimmy Eat World ), which opens the doors of local recognition from the outset (Deep ELM enlists them the same year for the compilation This Is Indie Rock, Volume 1). But while success in the indie/emo genre seems to be reaching out to combo, from 2005 its authors began a dramatic change of style, starting to practice a mixture of screenamo, post hardcore and math rock. The Kidcrash then integrates the workings of this scene and knock-on recorded splits in 2007 with Coffin Dancer, Arse Moreira and released his new album, Jokes, produced jointly by Ape Must Not Kill Records, Denovali and Purepainesugar. In 2008 will appear two new shared discs, one with L'Antietam, the second with the Italians of Neil On Impression.
