The Great Old Ones

Formed in 2009 in Bordeaux under the initiative of Benjamin Guerry, The Great Old Ones is a black metal band acquiring in Lovecraftian mythology.Benjamin composed alone for two years before starting to search for musicians to perfect and release the band's first album, Al Azif. It was in 2012 that the album came into being in two different labels: Antithetic Records in the United States, which offers the vinyl and digipack version of the album, and Les Acteurs De L'Ombre pour l'Europe, which distributes the standard version. Musically speaking, Al Azif can be close to so-called Post-Black-Metal formations, in any case in line with bands like Wolves In The Throne Room or Year Of No Light. It shows a group with already strong personality and certain talent. In 2016 the French signed at Season of Mist and released early 2017 EOD - A Tale Of Dark Legacy. , their third album.
