The Ganjas

This Chilean quartet was created in 2001 at the initiative of Samuel Maquieira and Miguel ngel Montenegro, two guitarists from the Yajaira group, joined by singer/bassist Rafael Astaburuga and drummer Aldo Benincasa. Miguel ngel's square is now held by Pablo Guiadach. The band is currently one of the major players in the Chilean and South American rock scene but seems condemned to remain forever discreet in our contrites... which is rather regrettable when we know the quality of their discography until then. Loose, their latest album is scheduled for the first half of 2009.
