Tesseract
Biography
Tesseract's English were in the Metal scene at the beginning of this new decade. Currently composed of five musicians (Daniel Tompkins – singing, Acle Kahney – guitar, James Monteith – guitar, Jay Postones – drums, Amos Williams – bass and singing), Tesseract is a project that musicians describe as ambitious, artistically complete and inspired. The project was born in 2003 from the spirit of Acle Kahney, whom he wrote and self-produced entirely. As a producer-performer "at home", Kahney posted his compositions, and received encouragement from Fredrik Thordendal, guitarist of Meshuggah. A few years later, in 2009, the release of the Concealing Fate was received and considered a size of progressive metal by part of the press (Metal Hammer, Classick Rock Presents, Terrorizer, Scuzz). The band finished its line-up two years later, with the arrival of their new singer Daniel Tompkins, known for his powerful voice in clear and his piercing cries. He brings Tesseract a new dimension, combining an ethereal emotion of brutality. March 23, 2011 released album One on Century Records. Tesseract willingly engages the combinations of atmospheres, composing by means of complex nuances a hypnotic atmosphere, approaching the trend Rock and Progressive Metal. The name is associated with a complex geometric structure, interlocking two cubes one in the other. Tesseract promises to grow, supported by their Meshuggah peers or Textures.
