Terror
Biography
Founded by Scott Vogel (ex Buried Alive) and Todd Jones (ex Carry On), Terror quickly signed at Bridge Nine Records after a visit to Takeover. The band recorded in Cleveland in March 2002, the mini album Lowest of the Low, which was only released in January of the following year. A tour is organized to promote it including some US festivals as well as an incursion into Europe with Biohazard. Trustkill Records' signature marks an important milestone for the Los Angeles quintet, which released its first album, One With The Underdogs , on the New Jersey label in 2004.
In 2005, Terror embarked on a major world tour that led them to play Fury Fest with Madball , Paint it Black and H2O among others. 2006 marks a turning point for Californians who lose Franck Novinec, recruited by Hatebreed and Carl Schwartz who, after the recording of Always The Hard Way, announced his intention to devote themselves fully to the First Blood project. Both were replaced respectively by Martin Stewart ( Donnybrook ) and Jonathan Buske ( Another Victim , The Promise ). In 2008, after four years at Trustkill, the new album The Damned The Shamed is released this time at Century Media. It was also the same year that bassist Jonathan Buske decided to bid farewell to the Californian formation, which saw the arrival of David Wood ( Down To Nothing ) in his midst. In early 2009, Doug Weber left the band, tired of life on the roads. He was replaced by Jordan Posner (No Warning ). Despite the departure of Weber the combo continues its impressive work, whether on stage or in studio the band stops only very rarely to blow. In 2010 Keepers Of The Faith released, in 2013 Live By The Code and finally in summer 2015 the remarkable The 25th Hour.
