Biography

Teramaze was formed in Melbourne (Australia) in the 1990s by Dean Well (guitars), originally called Terrormaze. The band released an effective Thrash Metal with progressive elements from its first album, Doxology, in 1995. Teramaze released Tears To Dust in 1998 and an EP in 2001. This is followed by a long break during which the group does not fold but takes the time to produce Anhedonia which is born in 2012. Exit the Thrash, Teramaze's Progressive Metal is now very melodic and close to Dream Theater rather than Meshuggah's. Esoteric Symbolism was released in 2014, and Her Halo the following year.
