Sixx Am

In 2006, Nikki Sixx, the founder bassist and composer of Mötley Crüe , decided to release a musical accompaniment to his autobiography "The Heroin Diaries". He brings together his friends, guitarist DJ Ashba, former guitarist of Guns N' Roses, and James Michael, who will perform singing, guitar and drum programming. The name of the group shall consist of those of each of its members. After many recording sessions, the band eventually formed as a full-fledged entity and released The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack in 2007. The success was immediate, confirmed later by This Is Gonna Hurt, who rose to tenth place in the US charts. With Modern Vintage , the band takes a risk and tries to create a new style, leaving a wide variety of influences and musical orientation. In 2016 he released Prayers For The Damned, Vol. 1, the first part of a diptych.
