Six Organs Of Admittance aka Ben Chasny . Comets on Fire's solo project, 6OoA released its first album, eponymous, in 1998. Chasny introduces into his folk a spiritual, quasi-religious dimension that manifests itself through the contribution of percussion and tribal rhythms as well as the transcendence of electric sensations with multiple effects. Chasny's folk thus ranks in the current tote of the new-folk, sometimes pulling towards the drone on the first albums.
Boulimique to the point of releasing one album a year, and before returning to the recording session, in 2009, 6OoA released RTZ , a compilation of his first songs and demos.
