Silmarils

Silmarils, this is a little mythical name for those who had an ear to Rage Against The Machine, Downset and the merger of the early 90s. Silmarils was one of the first French metal groups to quickly be classified as neo, but preferred as fusion. Next to No One Is Innocent, Lofofora, Oneyed Jack et al. the band released 100,000 copies of its first album containing the amazing Cours Vite. Mixing on the first album various influences, from metal to punk, from blends to beatie boys, the band will shift on the second to a more personal but equally effective music. Their 3rd album will however be another template, we thought Silmarils lost in soporific rap limbos but 4 Life their 4th album reminds us that the rock band is not yet dead, not yet...
