Formed in Angers in September 2000, Sexypop released a first maxi CD 5 tracks Girls Love Electric Sheep , in November 2001, on the Parisian label Buzz Off. Two years later, the trio returned to the studio to record its first "long-term" production: Access To The Second Floor. The album will be released in February 2003, and the combo will continue to tour and compile alongside Uncommonfrommars, Dead Pop Club, Homeboys, Flying Donuts, and other Second Rate. 2004 saw once again the return of the Angevins to the studio, but this time under the leadership of Swiss producer David Weber, and therefore, in Geneva. This is to transcribe, with the greatest fidelity possible, the stage performances of Sexypop. Finally, spring 2005 rhymes with launch of a new tour on the occasion of the release of this new opus: Strange Days .
