Runemagick
Biography
The story begins in 1990 when Nicklas Rudolfsson launched the Desiderius project, quickly renamed Runemagick. A time alone on board, he was slow to find the right musicians, going so far as to leave the case in 1993. Then finally, he revived the thing in 1997, formed a line-up, and recorded a first album, The Supreme Force of Eternity, released in 1998 at Century Media Records. This is the beginning of an intense activity that will never be denied in the history of the group, with about one exit per year. As early as 1999, a second opus, Enter the Realm of Death, and a third the following year, entitled Resurrection in Blood, arrived. A small drop in diet is to be reported in 2001, with a live album as the only release. But the band compensated the following year with no less than four releases, two albums (Moon of the Chaos Eclipe and Requiem of the Apocalypse ) and two splits (one with Lord Belial , the other with Soulreaper ). The year 2003 saw when she landed two new opus, The Pentagram and especially Darkness Death Doom , an album that completed the transition from the typically Death Metal sound from the beginning to the Doom Death. Since then, the band has continued with at least one release per year, with four albums (On Funeral Wings in 2004, Envenom in 2005, Invocation of Magick in 2006, Dawn of the End in 2007) and a split with Ocean Chief , also in 2007. It is also worth mentioning the release in 2008 of the compilation Dark Death Earth which includes the first three albums of Runemagick, with Enter the Realm of Death being accompanied by a cover of Tiamat, The Malicious Paradise. Emma Karlsson and Nicklas Rudolfsson are also married. Line-up : Nicklas "Terror" Rudolfsson (guitar / singing) Emma Karlsson - Rudolfsson (bass) Daniel "Mojjo" Moilanen (battery)
