Rotten Sound
Biography
Formed in Finland in 1993, Rotten Sound is a Grindcore band formed around guitarist Mika Aalto. A first single was released the following year, followed by various EPs (Psychotic Veterinarian in 1995, Loosin'Face in 1996 and Splitted Alive in 1997). It takes 1998 to see Rotten Sound's first LP, Under Pressure, released at Repulse Records. The combo recorded Drain in 1999 and then turned to the American label Necropolis Records for a new EP Still Psycho (where one can hear a cover of Carcass Reek Of Putrefaction). The Finns then embarked on a European tour with Hateplow or Malevolent Creation. In 2002, the band released a 2nd album Muderderworks, followed by a series of concerts with Fleshless, Debauchery, Circle Of Dead Chidren or Lykathea Aflame. Then follow From Crust'Til Grind , Murderlive , Exit , Cycles and Cursed , always interspersed with tours (with Disfear for example) and with a powerful grind , getting closer to more Hardcorized sounds on the latest opus , Cursed .
