Red Harvest

Red Harvest is already an old band born in Norway about twenty years ago. Thomas (bassist) and Jimmy (guitar, singing) were co-founders in 1987. Authors of two demos in 89 and 90, Ocultica and Psychotica, the group vivote before releasing its first album of Thrash Metal Nomindsland in 1992. It's with the next disc that Red Harv finds his way. There的s Beauty in the Purity of Sadness sees Lars Sorensen join them for recording and mixing, before he becomes a full member the following year. In 1994, Ketil (guitar/song) completed the band's regular line-up, of which he knew the members of the combo industrial death Dunkel:heit . Two new releases, including the excellent HYbreed in 1996, as well as a tour with Type O Negative . Then in 1997, Erik Wroldsen replaced the previous drummer. Thus stabilized, Red Harvest can take its time to refine its future albums. From 2001 to 2004, Cold Dark Matter , Sic Transit Gloria Mundi and Internal Punishment Programs thus assumed the reputation of an excellent, creative and innovative group, at the time on the Nocturnal Art label (that of Samoth d'Emperor ). In 2006, the band signed at Season of Mist for its 8th studio album, A Greater Darkness . Meanwhile, the Harvest Bloody Harvest DVD was released in fall 2006. A Greater Darkness came out in February 2007 and perpetuates the quality of a band that is now essential.
