Behind Prurient hides Dominick Fernow , an artist with multiple caps from Wisconsin. Particularly prolific, the American burns all wood, not hesitating to release two to three albums in the same year. His music is based on Noise but sometimes delights in Indus, Techno or Dark Ambient. Author of more than two hundred albums under multiple pseudos and labels, Pruriient remains his most successful project. In 2013, Pruriient softened a little bit with Through the Window and thus reaped both critical and public success. The plebiscite around this artist, active since the early 2000s, opens the doors of the label Profound Lore on which he released Frozen Niagara Falls in 2015, a pivotal album of a discography decidedly rich.
