Australian quintet, Portal was formed in 1994 and probably spent a few dark years of which it might be a good thing not to know. After a few recordings, the band released its first album in 2003, Seepia , with limited circulation but whose confidential reception of a pointed community is rather positive, if such a word can be used for such a formation. With his second album, the band affirms its identity by developing an abstract metal, up to the botist and destroyed. His extreme death metal universe in wasteland, in abscons brouhaha make it a rather unique formation in the landscape of international metal. With Swarth in 2009, the training retained this orientation by adopting a content of more than one post-black metal at the Blut Aus Nord , separating a little bit from a crushed technical death.
