Pallbearer
Biography
Pallbearer was born in 2008 on the side of Little Rock (Arkansas) at the initiative of the two former sports Brett Campbell (Guitare / Chant, also seen since at The Slow Death ) and Joseph D. Rowland (Basse), Devin Holt (Guitare, ex-Placid Eclipse ) and Zach Stine (Batterie) who left the ship in 2010 after the release of the band's first demo. It is therefore with a remodeled line-up and the arrival of Chuck Shaaf behind the drums that Pallbearer makes his great debut: after a signature by Profound Lord Records and 20 Buck Spin, the first album Sorrow And Extinction is a real success in the Doom sphere and beyond since it attracts itself to the good words of Pitchfork. At the end of 2012, Mark Lierly replaced Chuck, then the band toured with Royal Thunder, Inter Arma, Enslaved, Boris and performed in prestigious festivals such as the Roadburn or Hellfest. Two years later Pallbearer presented the cover for Foundations Of Burden, still on the Canadian label.
