Nocturnal Depression

Nocturnal Depression , project of Depressive Black Metal mixing sadness, darkness, despair, was born in Grenoble with Lord Lokhraed (Aghone , Grim Landscape , Helegion , Livor Mortis , That Old Black Magic , Terra Mortis ) singing and guitar and Herr Suizid multi-instrumentalist. Burzum , Forgotten Tomb , Xasthur
are groups that have greatly influenced the two partners. Two demos (re-issued 7 years for one and 10 years for the other, later)
published in 2004, then again two demos the following year before delivering
early 2006 a first opus, Nostalgia - Fragments of a Broken Past under Whispering Night Productions. A split with Funeral RIP and another demo ( Four Seasons to a Depression) were created that year. Modii (Helegion , Ordalie , Aldaaron , Supplicium , Ice Empires ) bass and Obeyron ( Grim Landscape , Human Ruins ) guitar join the combo for the concerts. In 2007 a second effort was born, Soundtrack for a Suicide - Opus II
(Sun&Moon Records) but in November 2008 there were 5
with Morkhod to the drums they compose the new album Reflections of a Sad Soul
under the same label. Just after the album was released, Modii decided to
leaving the band and will no longer participate in the concerts, Krahne (Sanctuary) resumes the bass. Between 2009 and 2010 Lord Lokhraed and Herr Suizid will make a series of splits (Wedard , Benighted in Sodom / Deathrow and the latest with Kaiserreich ) as well as the DVD Mankind Suffering Visions . In 2010, some line-up change with the departure of Obeyron replaced by solo guitarist Avskrius ( Mutilanova ) and again at 5, they will release in September 2010 the opus The Cult of Negation under the new label Avantgarde Music. The original duo released the demo re-released on the album Suicidal Thoughts in 2011 and in October of that same year a Split ( Blodarv / Grimlair / Black Hate / Acedi ) with a third member, Avskrius. 2012 saw the departure of one of the founding members of the project, Herr Suizid and the arrival of Vrede ( Myrd , Beach ) to singing and guitar. 2013, while the beaters for the live performances are linked between Asher ( Domina Noctis , Forgotten Tomb , Whiskey Ritual ), Algol and finally Xalmstad ( Grim Landscape ), there are 4 (Lord L., Vrede, Morkhod and Krahne) without Avskrius, the band released the single L'Isolement at the end of the year. In 2014, Vrede returned to his other formation Myrd and Lord Lokhraed took care of a Split with Vspolokh and Myrd precisely. The Near to the Stars demo is re-released under Sun&Moon Records. Spleen Black Metal
is born in May 2015, new effort of combo composed with the
current line-up: Lord L. (song and guitar), Morkhod (battery), Krahne
(low) and the return of Avskrius to lead guitar.
