Miss May I
Biography
Miss May I is a metalcore band founded in 2006 in Troy, Ohio. It consists of Levi Benton (Chant), Justin Aufdemkampe (Guitare), B.J. Stead (Guitare); Jerod Boyd (Battery) and Ryan Neff (Basse / Chant). Miss May I strives to deliver a positive message in her words, but is not a Christian Metalcore group, even though some of its members have affinities to religion. At the beginning of 2007, Ryan Neff went to Rose Funeral, was replaced by Josh Gillespie, and the quintet recorded his first ep, Vows For A Massacre, which allowed them to be noticed by Rise Records. The label released their first album, Apologies Are For The Weak , in 2009, then Miss May I shot with Carnifex , Conducting From The Grave and Impending Doom , but Josh Gillespie decided to leave the band because the tours were not for him. Ryan Neff thus recovered his post after recording Rose Funeral's The Resting Sonata , a tour with The Devil Wears Prada and Your Demise was launched in 2010. Their second album, Monument, appears at the end of 2010, which is the occasion for the band to defend him on stage alongside We Came As Romans, Of Mice&Men, Texas In July, Woe Is Me and Pierce The Veil. Two years later, At Heart came out in the bins, supported by a new promotional tour with Whitechapel, After The Burial, Parkway Drive and The Ghost Inside.
