Misery Speaks
Biography
Misery Speaks was formed in 1999 in Münster, Germany, around Florian Füntmann (Guitare), Denis Pfeffer (Guitare), Claus Ulka (Chant), Olaf Piasetzki (Basse) and Fabian Völker (Battery). They released a first demo entitled Plagues Of Paradise the same year, then Janosch Rathmer replaced Fabian on drums for the release of a second demo: Psycho Trauma Phobia. Stephan Gall replaced Denis as second guitarist later, then Misery Speaks released Things Fall Apart in 2004 which allowed them to open for bands like Napalm Death, Heaven Shall Burn or Vader. Olaf left and Pascal Berke (Basse) took his place to record a demo in 2005 which allowed them to get a contract with Alveran Records. They record what is considered their first real album: Misery Speaks . Two years later, Martin Großmann replaced Pascal on bass for the release of Catalogue Of Carnage at Drakkar Records. Claus also left the training the following year and Przemek took over the microphone for the release of Disciples Of Doom still at Drakkar Records. Tired of constant line-up change (only Florian Füntmann remains as an original member at the end), Misery Speaks throws the sponge at the end of 2009.
