Mewithoutyou

At the base created to be the parallel project of the brothers Weiss (Aaron&Michael) and Christopher Kleinberg, the 3 musicians already playing in The Operation, Aaron Weiss' desire to create a band experimenting with new sounds allowed MewithoutYou to release a first Ep commercialized I Never Said That I Was Brave and to sign at Tooth & Nail in 2002. After a few line-up changes and the abandonment of The Operation, MewithoutYou released his first album [A-B] Life in 2002, then Catch For Us The Foxes 2 years later. After another bassist change, the band recorded its 3rd album Brother, Sister in 2006, and was re-started by Christopher Kleinberg in 2007. The musicians are preparing their return for 2009, with their fourth album. The "You" of MewithoutYou refers to God, and the band explores, through its music, the Judeo-Christian religions, whether in terms of the lyrics or the names and works of the albums.
