Merrimack

Merrimack is a French Black-Metal group that started its activities in 1994 in Paris. Formed by five people, Kaelifer (Basse), Sateo (Chant / Guitar), Lord Amroth (Chant), Gommorrhus (Battery), Asmodee (Guitare), the combo develops a particularly dark and unhealthy music, worthy of a good Norwegian band, and proudly addressing the characteristics of satanism. While Merrimack recalls many groups of the genre, there is still a fairly characteristic leg that gives it its own identity. With two demos, two albums, two splits (one with Hirilorn , the other with Sargéist ), an ep, and many concerts, you can't say that Merrimack is an unemployed band, even if he takes his time to get out his mischief, guaranteeing a certain quality. The proof is with Of Entropy And Life Dental , released on 06/06/06 after four years of silence. Still as dark and true, this album proves that Merrimack can make a place at the heart of the French scene, something they confirm with a third album in 2009, Grey Rigorism .
