Menace Ruine

Menace Ruine is a duo of Geneviève and S. De La Moth from Quebec. Formed in 2006, the band recorded a first demo, In Vulva Infernum , and its first album, Cult Of Ruins , in 2008 playing a noise and dissonant Black Metal. With The Die Is Cast, which appeared the same year, Menace Ruine became more interested in occultism and evolved into medieval sounds, Neo-Folk and Darkwave. Two years later, experiments continued with Union Of Irreconcilables, which was released at Aurora Borealis. A European tour was announced in 2011, stopping at the Roadburn Festival, and Menace Ruine returned to the studio to deliver Alight In Ashes in 2012, which appeared at Profound Lore Records.
