Melanie De Biasio

Born July 12, 1978 in Charleroi, Melanie De Biasio is a Belgian jazz artist. After a rather diverse musical journey that led to the diversity of her compositions, the formation flautist released her first album A Stomach is Burning in 2007. Combining influences from Ella Fitzgerald to Nina Simone via Portishead or Pink Floyd , Melanie De Biasio takes out of all stylistic anchors to better drape the listener of her enchanting darkness. Melanie De Biasio returned in 2013 with No Deal , a critical and public success of an artist to follow closely.
