Mac Miller
Biography
Mac Miller, by his real name Malcolm James McCormick, is a MC from Pittsburgh. From his first steps as a 14-year-old musician under the name EZ Mac, the artist moves towards hip hop. He will release a first mixtape But My Mackin, followed two years later by The Jukebox and The High Life. This will allow him to sign at Rostrum , a Pittsburgh-based label (with other artists like Wiz Khalifa or Donara ), which will put in the K.I.D.S. stores in August 2010.
This year will be the beginning of the consecration, the The Incredibly Dope Tour showing complete on each date and Mac Miller being awarded 2 prizes at the Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards.
Next, there are various Mixtapes, including Best Day Ever, promoted using different singles on Youtube ("Wear my hat", "All Around the World" or "Donald Trump"). It takes until 2011 to see Mac Miller's first album, Blue Side Park, which will fall to the top 1 of the Billboard on its first few weeks of marketing.
The musician then followed the tours, EP and mixtape, collaborating with Schoolboy Q, Pharrell Williams, ... Watching Movies with the Sound Off landed in 2013, with appearances by Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler the Creator but was quickly followed by a live, Live from Space, and a collaboration with Pharell Williams, Pink Slime, announced for 2014.
The musician is also known as Larry Fisherman (Producer) and Delusional Thomas (MC) and is self-taught (Piano, guitar, drums and bass). He created his own label Remember Music , early 2013.
