Lento

Lento is an experimental Doom-Metal group formed in 2004 in Rome, Italy. It is composed of Emanuele Massa (Basse), Federico Collela (Battery, Samples), Lorenzo Stecconi, Donato Loia and Guiseppe Caputo with guitars. Including influences ranging from Swans to Neurosis, Lento develops heavy, compact and monolithic music while incorporating elements as Ambient, Hardcore, Post-Rock and psychedelic. Supernaturals : Records One is an improvised session with Ufomammut , recorded in one day at Locomotore Studio in Rome in March 2007. The same year appeared their first album: Earthen, released by Supernatural Cat. In 2011 Lento signed with Denovali Records and further strengthens his experiments on the album Icon . A follow-up is given just a year later: Anxiety, Despair, Languish.
