Biography

Founded by members of the metal-progressive group Maudlin Of The Well , Kayo Dot is above all a crazy project aimed at merging modern classical compositions with abrasive guitars unique to Rock and Metal. With an impeccable technique, the musicians of Kayo Dot elegantly build "square" pieces but know how to let themselves go to a malleable performance and performance bearing witness to a great talent. Using a kyrielle of instruments (alto, violin, trumpet, clarinet, double bass, guitar, bass, the most varied percussions) to serve a rich and resolutely spiritual music, Kayo Dot creates an atmosphere in which paradoxically converges violence and serenity.
