Jorn
Biography
Jørn Lande (born 1968) is a Norwegian singer. After a few youth groups, he made his studio debut in Vagabond during the 1990s, before continuing on various other projects (The Snakes , Ark , Beyond Twilight ...). From 2002 he became truly known by joining Masterplan , a group of Power Metal from former Helloween Roland Grapow, that he left in 2006 before returning to him from 2009 to 2012. He also participated in 01011001 of Ayreon , is a regular collaborator of Tobias Sammet at Avantasia , and appears alongside Russell Allen ( Symphony X ) in Allen-Lande . In addition to these numerous projects, in 2000 he founded his own band, simply called Jorn, whose musicians varied regularly. The first opus, Starfire , is composed equally of original covers and compositions. At present, he has released no less than eight other original albums (the most recent being Life On Death Road in 2017), three covers (including one entirely dedicated to Ronnie James Dio, soberly titled Dio), three compilations (most notably Symphony , composed of orchestral re-records), and two lives. Current line-up : Jørn Lande - Song Mat Sinner ( Sinner , Primal Fear , Voodoo Circle ...) - Bass Alex Beyrodt ( Primal Fear , Silent Force ...) - Guitar Alessandro Del Vecchio ( Edge Of Forever , Silent Force , ex- Eden's Curse ...) - Claviers Beata Polak ( Wolf Spider ) - Battery
