Insect Ark

It was in Brooklyn in 2011 that Dana Schechter (Gnaw) set up Insect Ark , an experimental Doom Metal project. First one-woman band, Insect Ark releases two eps and one album, Portal / Well (2015) on which Dana Schechter plays lap steel, drums and program synths. In 2015, drummer Ashley Spungin ( Taurus ) joined the project and the now duo began the composition of Insect Ark's second effort. The album is released in February 2018 che z Profound Lore Records and is titled Marrow Hymns . The Vanishing, is it coming in 2020? Always on the same label.
