Igorrr

Igorrr has this precious and rare ability to demonstrate through his music that genres do not exist, without producing a simple and vulgar pot-pourri. At once isolated and fine connoisseur of a global artistic spectrum gathering music in its entirety, he explores the extreme by giving a new breath to the breakcore, among the first intellectual electronic evolutions to have energized the movement, but today blunted. Since three albums, this meticulous constructor of millimetre arrangements proves that the genre is only a vector allowing to move to the rhythmic mill all kinds of sound stamps, stylistic attributes by crushing them to keep only a direct and unequivocal concentrate. Exploring even further than what Venetian Snares could do, Igorrr produces a chain of these species, violently telescoped in a schizophrenic and unhealthy boil. Very influenced by the metal, an environment in which he has lived many experiences, he has no scruples to sample or record his most extreme forms, by acoquining them to the decadence of baroque music within rhythmic jazz, techno, country, destroyed at beat repeater, with compulsive chopper, lining with dejections an art as aberrant as effective. Of these crazy ideas born an absurd, provocative, strange atmosphere, reminiscent of the madness of Carnival in Coal, without having to blush the know-how of the best founders breakcore.
