Huata

Huata is a Stoner/Breton Occult Doom quartet inspired by bands like Electric Wizard, Sleep or Sunn O)) . Starting in 2006 in Lannion, the band made several line-up changes before recording a demo in 2008. The band crystallised around Ronan Grall (Chant), Benjamin Moreau (Basse), Alexis Darnoux (Battery) and Christophe Marconato (Guitare). Their first ep, Open The Gates Of Shambala , mixed by KKP ( HKY , Quartier Rouge , Warsaw Was Raw ) was released in 2009 at Throatruiner Records. Atavist Of Mann, their first album, appeared two years later and released a multitude of labels. Benefiting from good returns, Huata toured with Dopethrone performed at Roadburn 2012 and participated in several festivals. In 2013, they released a split with Bitcho that appeared at Music Fear Satan.
