Hightide Hotel

Christopher Thomas (Chant, Bass) David Sampson (Chant, Guitar) Ben Schmidt (Chant, Battery) Hightide Hotel was formed in 2008 in Philadelphia. Directly wired on the emo according to Kinsella, the trio released a first EP in 2008, Porch Luck, which already places them among the best hopes of an emo US scene in full renewal. In 2009, Hightide Hotel explored an emo folk fiber with the release of the EP acoustic Secret Somethings and reinterpreted 2 tracks of the Porch Luck EP for a 7" split with By Surprise. In 2010, Runner Up Records and Count Your Lucky Stars Records joined forces to release the band's first LP, Nothing Was Missing, Except Me , recorded and produced by Joe Reinhart (Algernon Cadwallader ).
