Heilung

Christopher Juul, Kai Uwe Faust, Maria Franz founded Heilung in 2014 in København, Denmark. The trio deals with the Iron Age and Viking Age through historical texts by playing folk music with instruments that could be found at the time such as percussions, bones, skins, bells or spears. Their first album, Ofnir, was released in self-production in 2014. We must wait for the Live Lifa, broadcast on youtube in 2017 so that Heilung gets noticed by an ever-growing audience, lovers of folk music sometimes close to Wardruna. Later, it was Season Of Mist who signed the band to release the live in physical format and re-release their first album. Futha was released in 2019 on the same label.
