Godspeed You Black Emperor

Godspeed You! Black Emperor, this is a very enigmatic name for a band that is just as much. Coming from Montreal, this formation of 9 musicians has become, over time, one of the leaders of so-called Post-Rock and avant-garde music. In four albums, the band imposes its brand: flat music, tortured, long songs, even very long (32 minutes for example) and very complex structures. A must for all music lovers apart.
Some members have set up other projects, such as A Silver Mt Zion, for one of the best known. After more than ten years of pause, when we thought Godspeed You! Black Emperor permanently dead and buried, the Canadians return with a new album in 2012 entitled Allelujah! Don't Bend.
