Forteresse
Biography
Fortresse was born in 2006, on the lands of Quebec founded by Moribond (Guitare / Basse) and Attros (Guitare / Chant / Claviers). Taking the party to sing in French only like many other Black Metal bands from the same region, they released in the same year a first album, Métal Noir Québécois , with the help of the label Sepulchral Productions, a reference that also counts in its ranks Monarque , Gris et Sombres Forêts to mention only them. The formation adopts a relatively regular cruise rhythm, leaving an ep or split between each album. Thus, appeared in 2008 The Hivers De Notre Époque, in 2010 By Hauts Bois et Vastes Plaines where Honey is recruited to the battery and keyboards, then the following year Crépuscule d'October. The group seems to slow down its activities as a result of the latter. In 2014, a four-group split, also including Monarch, Csejthe and Chassage-Galerie, was created as Legends. Finally, in 2016, Fortresse returned for good with the arrival of Matrak Tveskaeg (Guitare - Cantique Lépereux , Chasse-Galerie ) and their fifth album: Themes Pour La Rebellion , still signed by Sepulchral Productions.
