Every Time I Die
Biography
Born in the winter of 1998, Every Time I Die quickly acquired a certain local reputation thanks to a demo 4 tracks already very upset. Chaining concerts alongside bands like the very good Buried Alive that will be followed by a tour that will make some stopovers in Canada, the combo meets Chris Logan of Goodfellow Records which offers them the opportunity to release an EP 5 tracks (Burial Plot Bidding War). Even if at that time there was an approximate mastery of the instruments, this EP with a somewhat weak production would suffice to establish the bases of a violent and spontaneous music oscillating between metal and hardcore. Last Night In Town will open the doors for more important tours alongside Converge or Dillinger Escape Plan . Hot Damn! was released in 2003 on Ferret Records , a rather well-received album, this album does not deviate by an inch from the path drawn by previous productions. In 2005, it was the comeback with Gutter Phenomenon . The group will see the big picture by inviting this time Daryl Palumbo ( Head Automatica , Glassjaw ) and Gerard Way ( My Chemical Romance ) to put their voices on compositions that are still so explosive. The band has been following its path since then, with The Big Dirty in 2007 and New Junk Aesthetic two years later. With a line-up finally stabilized (back from Stephen Micciche to bass), the combo enchaine Ex Lives and From Parts Unknown (with Kurt Ballou behind the console) continuing in its lead of a Southern Rock tinted metalcore catchy. In 2016 the quintet gave birth to an eighth album, Low Teens , produced this time by Will Putney ( Thy Art Is Murder , Body Count , The Acacia Strain ). The producer resumes his mantling post for the next album, the dense Radical , laid out in 2021.
