Equilibrium

Formed in 2001 in Starnberg, Germany, Equilibrium is an epic metal band inspired by both the Extreme Folk scene and the Bo of fantastic films. After a demo released in 2003, René Berthiaume, guitarist of the band, is producing the first album, Turis Fratyr , which will be released in February 2005 thanks to the label Black Attak. The name of Equilibrium then passes beyond borders and begins to make talk about him to the point that Nuclear Blast Records proposes to the formation to release the next album under his label.
After a small change of drummer and thanks to the keyboardist of the time (Armin Dörfler of Darkseed), Equilibrium signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records and released Sagas in 2008, his second opus. The album will quickly become one of the most prestigious buildings in orchestral metal.
