Enforcer
Biography
Enforcer is the project of the Olof brothers (Basse / Guitar / Chant) and Jonas Wilkstrand (Battery) founded in 2004 in Arvika, Sweden, which released two demos in 2005. The two brothers then surrounded themselves with Adam Zaars (Guitare, Tribulation, ex Repugnant ) in 2006 and Joseph Toll ( Tribulation, ex Corrupt ) who held the position of bassist between 2007 and 2008, and then went to guitar in 2008. The Swedish band revived the 80's Heavy Metal with its first album, Into The Night, which appeared at Heavy Artillery Records. With Joseph's transition to guitar, Enforcer recruited a new bassist in the person of Tobias Lindqvist (Tyrann , ex Corrupt ) in 2008. The now quintet released Diamonds in 2010 via Earache Records as well as splits with Volture and Bullet in 2011. Adam left the training in 2011 before Enforcer arrived in the court of the greats with a signature at Nuclear Blast Records for Death By Fire in 2013 and his successor From Beyond in 2015 that seriously took off their popularity. The band shares the stage with Municipal Waste or Overkill . Jonathan Nordwall replaced Joseph Toll in 2019 for the composition of Zenith, which appeared in 2019 and the ep 1000 Years Of Darkness. Garth Condit replaces Tobias Lindqvist in 2022 for the new release of Enforcer , Nostalgia , which seems current 2023 still at Nuclear Blast Records.
