Eleanora

Eleanora was formed in 2007 in Ghent, Belgium. The beginnings of training are marked by numerous changes in line-up, which eventually stabilizes in 2012. After a split with Amera and a first EP, both released in 2014, the Belgians released their first LP, Allure in 2016. Meaning "torch" in ancient Greek, Eleanora symbolizes for the group the dialectic between light and darkness, the individual and the collective: one cannot cohabit with the other while each exists only by contrast to the other. This duality is found in Belgian music that combines Sludge, Screamo and Post-Hardcore.
