This is the band's biography on their site. Of course to take the second step, this one sets the tone on this German power metal group formed in the early 1990s: a group that does not take itself seriously! The band released its first real Kingdom Of Madness album in 1996 (the band released Savage Poetry in 1995 before re-recording it in 2000). Some call the metal of Edguy a festive, as the band wants to convey its good mood and taste for the second degrès on their albums but also on stage, which differentiates them from other bands of the same style. In 2011, the band released its tenth album, Age Of The Joker. Their new album, scheduled for release on April 18, 2014 in our countries, will be entitled Space Police - Defenders Of The Crown .
