Dropout Kings
Biography
Previously known as Phoenix Down , Dropout Kings is a group of Fusion Rap, Metal and R'n'B from Phoenix, Arizona whose members served in other bands in the local scene. Set up in 2016 by Adam Ramey (Chant), Eddie Wellz (Chant), Chucky Guzman (Guitare), Tre Scott (Guitare / Bass), Trevor Norgren (Battery) and Charlie Mumbles (Machines), Dropout Kings changed its name in 2017 and focused its line-up with the arrival of Staig Flynn as second guitarist, Rob Sebastian on bass and Charlie abandoned the project. In 2018, they signed with Napalm Records for the release of their first effort, Audiodope . Followed by concerts and tours then an ep, Glitchgang , which appeared in 2020 at Stay Sick Recordings and was republished the year after by Suburban Noize Records. Joe Lana Jr. replaced Trevor with the current 2021 drum, and Dropout Kings released his second album, Riot Music , in 2023.
